How do we get to the Alii?

Is there any parking available at the Alii?

Unfortunately, there is no on-site parking available for short term rentals (less than a month). Like any large city, parking space is a premium and Honolulu is no exception. Metered street parking is available on Uluniu Ave (the street where the condo is located) and on many other streets and is free from 6:00pm until 8:00am. Additional parking is available less than 1/2 block away at the corner of Kuhio Ave & Ulunui Ave. for $10.00/night, subject to availability. 

Are laundry facilities nearby?

Actually, there are coin-operated washer/dryers on site. They are located on the ground floor of the building.

How do we check-in?

There is no formal check-in procedure. A set of keys to the apartment will be delivered to you 7-10 days prior to your arrival. The unit will be ready for you upon your arrival. Upon your departure, simply drop the keys in a mailbox at the airport and you are done!

How do I get my deposit back?

After your departure, the unit will be checked for cleanliness (unless cleaning services have been paid for),  damages and for missing items. (The keys must also be returned.) Assuming everything is acceptable, your deposit will be returned to you within 14 days of receipt of the returned keys.

We saw this rental on another site with another price, why?

We apologize for any confusions when this occurs. This is the "main" site for this rental unit.  We do advertise on other sites and sometimes those sites are not updated as regularly as this site is.  If there is a difference in pricing, or terms, the information on this site is always to be considered the most accurate.  

How many units do you have at the Alii?

There is just one rental unit available. A one bedroom on the 2nd floor of the building.  This unit has been beautifully remodeled in 2003.

How many people can stay at the Alii?

The one bedroom unit can comfortably accommodate a maximum of three adults sleeping on one queen bed and a sofa bed in the living room. Families consisting of two adults and two small children are welcome, however please keep in mind that sleeping conditions may be cramped!  No more than three adults may stay in this 444 square foot unit at any one time unless prior written permission has been obtained from the owner.
